General

Description: VCCT is always looking for volunteers who are willing to pitch in and help with a variety of tasks. Add your name to our list of volunteers!

Usher

Description: Users arrive one hour before the start of the show, scan tickets, and assist patrons in finding their seats.

Requirements: None

Box Office

Description: Sell tickets and manage box office before show and during intermission. Box office staff remain in box office through intermission.

Requirements: Trained on box office

Set Construction

Description: Every show needs a great set. Volunteer to assist in building and decorating the sets.

Stagehand

Description: Work behind the set with props, costumes, and assisting cast members during show.

Cleaning/Maintenance

Description: We have a large building and grounds to maintain. Volunteer to help clean, mow, and maintain our beautiful facility.

Director

Description: Direct a show, or be an assistant director.

Requirements: Directors for VCCT must have prior experience or serve as an assistant director for at least one show.

Lights/Sound

Description: Help design and run lights and/or sound.

Requirements: Lights and sound techs will be trained by VCCT veterans. If you like working with gadgets, sign up for this opportunity!

Grant Writing

Description: Looking for grant writers! There is a lot of grant money out there, and VCCT would like to apply for it!

Requirements: Good writing skills and time.
